1973 Piaggio Vespa Rally 200
The Vespa Rally 200 has everything, Italian pedigree, great looks and a powerful engine, many consider it to be the best Vespa that Piaggio ever produced.
This particular example is a rare original UK registered bike which has had £2500 spent on a new wiring loom and cables, brand new Pinasco 200 casings totally rebuilt with a NOS fork and front hub casting, SIP front damper and shock, SIP 2 exhaust pipe,
The sale includes a new barrel, piston and head and the original engine casings which have a repairable crack.
The current engine has a T5 4th gear, 12V set up and PX battery for the TomTom Rider set up, SLUK screen, PX Ancillotti seat with base cut to fit on Rally.
The scooter is solid but a little tatty around the edges and could do with a refresh (see photos) - it was restored in 2009 and had a new floor fitted in the late 1980s.
A hard to find classic at a reasonable price.
